For Chef Mikey Adams, CARNE is the culmination of a 25-year journey shaped by passion, discipline, and a deep love for Santa Cruz. After training and cooking everywhere from Edinburgh, Scotland to Michelin-level kitchens across California, Mikey returned home with the goal of giving back to the community that raised him. His cooking style is bold yet approachable, rooted in classical technique, elevated by global influence, and driven by exceptional local ingredients. Together with Tim and the CARNE team, he is creating a one-of-a-kind experience centered around the highest quality ingredients, flawless technique, and genuine hospitality. For Mikey, every dish should leave a lasting impression because great food has the power to bring people together and make them feel cared for.
